We really love meeting mothers, it inspires us so much to witness such nurturing caretakers in their element. Jordan is not only a stunning beauty, but the love she has for son shines through like a bright ray of sunshine. We had a blast being our silliest selves for Carson's six-month session and capturing his many faces, not to mention his gorgeous baby blues! They resembled the oceans of Bora Bora, we were absolutely blown away! Looking at photos of such a cute baby just makes what we do that much more rewarding. Here are some of the precious moments we captured.

Riley and Miki go together like peas and carrots.
Both are beautiful, creative souls with laid-back personalities, a strong work ethic and the kind of humor that causes you to laugh until your stomach hurts: they're the best kind of people.
And the best kind of friends.
Our BFF session started out with coffee poured into the most adorable Buddha mugs and enjoyed out on the balcony which was perfectly accompanied by vinyl records.
We then headed out and proceeded to browse the classics at this perfect little record store called Used Kids Records.
Afterward, we guiltlessly enjoyed some delicious food and bloody marys at the Short North Pint House which is nestled on High Street in Downtown, Columbus.
We honestly love these humans and we absolutely adored spending time capturing their friendship.
best friends forever.
After having such a magical maternity shoot with Savannah, it was a whole new kind of magic to photograph her baby boy. There was so much love felt between the three of them, and being able to capture it was an absolute joy. Could not get over how adorable Mason's little outfit was! The tiniest of shoes on the tiniest of feet! Savannah is just as beautiful a mother as she was a mother-to-be, her and Logan's complete admiration for their son was beautiful to witness. We left with our hearts so full. Here are some of the highlights of this heartwarming lifestyle session.
My very best friend from Alberta, Canada came to visit us recently, so our days were packed with meaningful ventures together, yet our personal favorite was when we went on a Sunday road trip out to Yellow Springs, Ohio. It was our first time there and we absolutely fell in love with the quaint yet eclectic uniqueness of it. After hitting up some awesome nature trails, we explored the town and had a real Ross and Rachel moment at this cute laundromat, made a brief visit to the Yellow Springs Brewery then sat down for a delicious meal at the Sunrise Cafe which offered an array of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, much of their ingredients locally sourced and organic. Our waitress was a gem and the atmosphere was fun, nearly every inch of the cafe was creatively painted. We absolutely adored our micro greens salad with homemade falafel. NOM. We can't wait to go back this summer and explore some more! Here are some captures of our little adventure in Yellow Springs!
She's so stinkin' cute.
Spending an evening alongside amazing humans with the theme of creativity and adventuring is something we absolutely adore. This was in Galloway, Ohio on a Darby Creek Metro Park trail. We worked on a small portrait session for a friend of ours and the spot we shot in was natural light heaven. I brought my film camera along, the Canon AE-1, and the gang brought along their own film and digital cameras. There was no shortage of creative tools! We were blessed with such a stunning sunset to witness, I used the lenses I was born with to take it in with the hope it would stay engrained in my brain forever. This is the result of our captures.
Sometimes when you get ready for a date night, you end up feeling so fierce that you just have to do a mini session in your front yard. My wardrobe consists of many Nirvana and Kurt Cobain items since I'm a huge fan and I've really been loving the grunge fashion comeback this year. I've had many DIY ideas for some amazing grunge pieces I hope to execute in the near future! I'm pretty sure I've had this choker since I was a teenager, isn't it awesome when old items come back in style? I may be a minimalist in most aspects of my life, but when it comes to clothes, I like to hold on to my favourite pieces as I always have a feeling it may just come back in style eventually. We hit up The Crafty Pint after this and I filled up on delicious craft beers and fish and chips.
One of my favourite things about meeting new couples are the love stories we get to hear. These two share the modern day tale of a long distance relationship and that is something Tyler and I can truly empathize with. Stephen had only just proposed to Megan within the week at Hocking Hills, Ohio and we were delighted to be able to share in the little time they had left together before they had to separate once more. We were intrigued to learn that Megan is an incredible artist (check out her artwork here) and Stephen, a poet. It's a profoundly beautiful thing when two creative souls come together. The support and love they have for one another were genuinely felt, and I was reminded of how love is so powerful, it can defy distance. Throughout our Darby Creek engagement session, we shared many laughs, had the privilege of witnessing a family of deer grazing in the forest (which we luckily captured in the video) and chased the sunset until it was nothing but a mere glow of orange peeking through the trees.
